Crystals can be found in the same manner as Lightstone’s, locked behind mini puzzles or hidden locations. Beyond the Lightstone’s, there’s plenty to reward your curiosity as you explore.

These puzzles seldom felt tedious and remained fresh and fun in each area. The Lightstone’s are usually locked behind mini puzzles you must solve to acquire. Each section is home to one of the previously mentioned bosses, which to reach you must first collect Lightstone’s for three massive obelisks to begin the cleansing process for that area’s boss. To stop the Godslayer, the mysterious Hunter must defeat and cleanse the four corrupted bosses, Cernos, Sauro, Nimue, and Kumo. This land, clearly sacred in this whimsical world, has been poisoned by the Godslayer who feeds off the power of the ancient Tall Ones, who I interpret as this island’s guardians.
